With November comes the start of holiday programming, but there’s still a fair number of British program premieres this month, including some must-see Brit TV titles.

Swedish film star Stellan Skarsgård rarely works in television, so his saying yes to River means this is no ordinary series. Both he and the show, coming soon to US telly, are brilliant.

Black Work, the crime drama/mystery featuring a top-notch cast led by British TV’s “It Girl” Sheridan Smith, is about to land on telly in the US. Huzzah!

Get ready to get your Sherlock on on the big screen, because Sherlock: The Abominable Bride is coming to a cinema near you… with extras!

The game is definitely on. The long-awaited and highly-anticipated Sherlock special — “The Abominable Bride” — will premiere on both sides of the pond on the same day.

US cable network A&E has added another British TV miniseries to its programming line-up: The Frankenstein Chronicles, starring the ever-talented Sean Bean.

A few of our favorite actors and shows are nominees for this year’s International Emmy® Awards, and there’s a new Agatha Christie-inspired American TV show in the works.
