The third series of Shetland, one of the best returning seasons amongst British TV programs in 2016, is set to premiere on KCET, the largest independent public TV station in the US.

It’s time to get your laugh on, Scottish style, as two sitcoms and one sketch show, all set in the greater Glasgow area, have arrived on Netflix US.

“Seems it never rains in Southern California,” sang Briton Albert Hammond in the early ’70s, but it will be pouring British programs here during KCET’s 2015/2016 TV season.

It’s time to wrap the maypole and begin watching the more than dozen British TV shows premiering in the US this month, including The Fixer, Mr. Sloane, the third and final season of Moone Boy, and the second season of

Hold on to your kilts. Celtic noir crime drama, Shetland, will return with star Douglas Henshall and guest stars including Ciaran Hinds, Archie Panjabi, and Anna Chancellor.
