This popular nature show returns with Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan, Gillian Burke, and Megan McCubbin live-broadcasting a week of wildlife stories from across the UK. Autumnwatch 2021 premieres in North America on Monday, November 1, exclusively on BritBox. New episodes debut daily through November 4.
Dalgliesh (UK)
Adapted from P.D. James’s best-selling “Adam Dalgliesh Mysteries” novels, this new series stars Bertie Carvel (Doctor Foster) as the titular detective. Set in 1970s England, it sees Dalgliesh investigate a poisoning, a double murder, and some suspicious deaths. For further details, read this article. Dalgliesh, an Acorn TV Original series, premieres in the US with its first two-part mystery on Monday, November 1, exclusively on Acorn TV. New stories will debut weekly on November 8 and 15.
Harry & Meghan: The Revelations (UK)
This documentary breaks down the Royal family drama following the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s departure from Royal life to start anew in L.A. The film explores the tension between the two households, and provides new insight into Harry’s relationship with brother William, as well as the aftermath of the couple’s Oprah interview. Temple: Season 2 (UK)
Following the events in Season 1 of this thriller (a remake of Norwegian series Valkyrien), the new season finds surgeon Daniel Milton (Mark Strong, Deep State) getting into deeper trouble, as his ill wife awakens from her coma and demands answers. Temple: Season 2, a Spectrum Original series, premieres in the US on Monday, November 1, exclusively on Spectrum Originals.
The Cleaner (UK)
This remake of German comedy series Der Tatortreiniger stars Greg Davies (The Inbetweeners) as Wicky, a state-certified cleaning technician who removes all signs of death from the scenes of ghastly crimes. These jobs bring him into contact with people who knew the victims and even the killers themselves, with whom he debates moral questions and other topics. Guest starring Helena Bonham Carter (The Crown) and David Mitchell (Peep Show), The Cleaner, a BritBox Original series, premieres in North America on Tuesday, November 2, exclusively on BritBox.
Mock The Week: Season 20 (UK)
Combining the best bits of a panel show, stand-up, and improvised games, this punchy panel show returns with Britain’s top comics taking a satirical swipe at the news and current events. The Electrical Life of Louis Wain (UK)
Set in the early 1900s, this biopic film tells the true story of eccentric British artist Louis Wain (Benedict Cumberbatch, Sherlock), whose playful, psychedelic pictures transformed the public’s perception of cats forever. Costarring Claire Foy (The Crown), The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, an Amazon Original Movie, premieres in the US on Friday, November 5, exclusively on Prime Video.
Father Christmas Is Back (UK)
In this holiday comedy, four feuding sisters get a crash course in family togetherness when their long-lost father shows up for Christmas at their posh ancestral manor in Yorkshire. Shetland: Season 6 (UK)
The new season of this Scottish noir mystery-crime drama sees DI Jimmy Perez (Douglas Henshall, In Plain Sight), DS Alison “Tosh” MacIntosh (Alison O’Donnell, Holby City), and DC Sandy Wilson (Steven Robertson, The Bay) investigating the murder of a prominent Shetland local. Ragdoll (UK)
Based on Daniel Cole’s novel, this crime thriller follows the police investigation into the murders of six people whose bodies were dismembered and then sewn into the shape of one grotesque body nicknamed the “Ragdoll.” On the killer’s list of his next victims is DS Nathan Wolf (Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Killing Eve). The Madame Blanc Mysteries (UK)
In this cozy mystery series, antiques dealer Jean White (Sally Lindsay, Mount Pleasant) learns she must pay off the huge debts of her late husband, who died during a buying trip in France. The only asset she has left is their cottage in the French town of Sainte Victoire, but when Jean goes there to sell it, she discovers more than she bargained for. The Wimbledon Kidnapping (US-UK)
This documentary tells the story of Britain’s first kidnap-and-ransom case: the 1969 kidnapping and presumed murder of 55-year-old housewife Muriel McKay, who was mistaken for the wife of media tycoon Rupert Murdoch. For the first time, all of the key players in this astonishing crime tell their side of the story. The Wimbledon Kidnapping premieres in the US on Tuesday, November 16, exclusively on Sundance Now and AMC+.
Hollington Drive (UK)
This thriller revolves around sisters Theresa (Anna Maxwell Martin, Motherland) and Helen (Rachael Stirling, Life), who fight to hold their lives and families together after a neighbor’s 10-year-old son goes missing, secrets and lies begin to surface, and long-held facades begin to falter. Royals Declassified (UK)
This four-part docuseries explores the intriguing secrets behind Queen Elizabeth II’s reign — from her relationships with her 14 Prime Ministers, to the Soviet spy in the palace. The recently declassified archives shed new light on key conflicts during the Queen’s historic reign. Royals Declassified premieres in the US on Thursday, November 18, exclusively on True Royalty.
Sort Of (Canada)
This comedy series follows the journey of Sabi Mehboob (Bilal Baig, Acha Bacha), a gender-fluid millennial who straddles various identities while feeling like they’re in transition in every aspect of their life, including gender, love, sexuality, family, and career. Sort Of premieres in the US on Thursday, November 18, exclusively on HBO Max.
Blown Away: Christmas (Canada)
In the holiday showdown of this competition series, five fan favorites return to the hot shop to compete in a series of Christmas-themed challenges. The winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize, and an additional $10,000 will be donated to their charity of choice. Stath Lets Flats: Season 3 (UK)
In the new season of this BAFTA-winning comedy, British Greek Cypriot letting agent and all-around incompetent and clueless human being Stath (Jamie Demetriou, The Great) is about to become a dad (yikes) as colleague Carole (Katy Wix, Ghosts) is about to give birth to their baby. Stath Lets Flats: Season 3 premieres in the US on Friday, November 19, exclusively on HBO Max.
The Great: Season 2 (UK-US)
The new season of this historical comedy-drama finds Catherine (Elle Fanning, Maleficent) taking the Russian throne for her own and then battling her court, her team, even her mother (Gillian Anderson, The Crown), in a bid to bring the enlightenment to Russia. The Great: Season 2, a Hulu Original series, premieres in the US on Friday, November 19, exclusively on Hulu.
A Taste of Italy (UK)
In this food and travel series, chef and restaurateur Nisha Katona embarks on a quest across lesser-known regions of Italy to discover unique and mouth-watering dishes. She teams up with local chefs to show us Italian cookery in a fresh and exciting way, and inspire us to try something more adventurous and authentic. A Taste of Italy premieres in the US in its entirety on Monday, November 22, on Acorn TV.
A Boy Called Christmas (UK)
Adapted from Matt Haig’s best-selling book A Boy Called Christmas, this holiday movie follows Nikolas, an ordinary young boy who sets out on an extraordinary adventure in search of his father, who is on a quest to discover Elfhelm, the fabled village of the elves. The Beatles: Get Back (UK-NZ-US)
Directed by Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit), this three-part docuseries is made entirely from never-before-seen, restored footage of The Beatles, providing the most intimate and honest glimpse into the creative process and relationship between John, Paul, George, and Ringo ever filmed. The Beatles: Get Back premieres in the US on Thursday, November 25, exclusively on Disney+.

Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey) stars in this historical crime drama as Victorian-era serial killer Mary Ann Cotton, a troubled woman whose dreams of escaping her hard life drew her ever deeper into a career of murder by poison. Dark Angel begins streaming Sunday, November 21.
Broadchurch: Seasons 1-3 (UK)
Set in the fictional town of Broadchurch in Dorset, Season 1 of this mystery-crime drama focuses on police detectives DI Alec Hardy (David Tennant, Doctor Who) and DS Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman, The Crown) as they investigate the death of local boy Danny Latimer, as well as on the impact of grief, mutual suspicion, and media attention on the town. Season 2 follows the dual storylines of bringing Danny’s killer to justice and a case from the past returning to haunt Hardy. And Season 3 follows Hardy and Miller as they try to solve another local crime that involves a serial sex offender, and the Latimer family, who go to extreme lengths to move on from Danny’s death. Walking Hadrian’s Wall with Robson Green (UK)
In this docuseries, actor and host Robson Green (Grantchester) treads in ancient footsteps as he makes the journey from Wallsend in the east of England to the isolated Cumbrian village of Bowness in the west.
