The month that kicks off the unofficial start of summer features the national premieres of 18 new series and seasons from the UK, plus 2 more that have their local broadcast debuts.
The shortest month of the year could have the shortest list of national program premieres of the year, too. But it’s still 17 new titles, so it’s not single-digit short.
Trick or treating might not happen in neighborhoods across the US this month, but it’s certain that 22 new and returning British and Canadian series will premiere in the States.
August brings a bumper crop of British TV premieres to the US — 21 titles, including 13 brand new series and 10 new seasons, specials, and on-offs.
April showers bring three dozen 37 British and Canadian TV premieres — 31 32 national and 5 local/regional — to viewers in the US.
