The new year arrives in less than a month (!) and with it comes the premiere of the new season of international sci-fi action-adventure megahit Doctor Who. Yay!

New program and cast announcements, plus a few details about recent and long-time favorite series returning to telly, is what’s on tap in today’s news bits.

Happy New Year! Kicking off 2019 are series featuring an alien, a witch and a vampire, a monarch, a matriarch, an amateur sleuth, and a beloved detective.

Twenty-two titles make their series or new season premieres in November, from British crime dramas and comedies to historical dramas and competition shows.

Stateside fans of British drama have three brand new series and the return of one of the best hit Brit mysteries of 2018 to look forward to in the coming days and months.

Thirty programs from the UK, Canada, and Ireland, including 20 national premieres plus shows from Wales and Scotland, are coming to telly in July.

Summertime, and the streaming is easy… and so is watching British TV on broadcast and cable TV, given nearly 40 titles premiering, returning, and being added to schedules in June.

For the shortest month of the year, we certainly have a lot of British and Canadian TV premieres in the US. Let the bingeing begin!

A dozen series from the UK, Australia, and Canada, plus a Brit-ified one from the US, premiere on telly in the States this month.

There’s a premiere for practically everyone this month, from adaptations of bestselling novels and a hit Broadway play, to new dramas and the return of some of the best British telly around.

The third and final season of The Musketeers is set to make its US debut, but instead of airing on cable as the first two seasons did, it will premiere exclusively on Hulu.
