The 24th of March 2016 marks the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising, and the landmark documentary, 1916: The Irish Rebellion, recounts the details of this history-making and history-changing event.
“In like a lion, out like a lamb?” Not for British TV in the US, because this month is chock-full of must-watch premieres of new and returning shows, plus lots of Irish programs, too!
February 2016. A shorter month days-wise, and one with fewer than ten British TV titles premiering in the US. However, those that debut this month make for some great viewing.
Highclere Castle is world famous thanks to Downton Abbey. Other stately homes in the UK are less well-known, but six are so special, they are the stars of Britain’s Hidden Heritage.
