Actually, they’re not all British. One is Canadian, another is Irish. But still. These are the brand new (to the US) shows that had me binge-watching until stupid o’clock in the morning.

Happy New Year! Sixteen new and returning British and Canadian programs premiere nationally this month, with another thirteen streaming titles available for binge-watching.

Daylight Savings Time begins this Sunday, which means stateside viewers will have an extra hour to watch four of the nineteen new shows and seasons premiering nationally this month.

With just over two months to go before we ring in the new year, here’s a look at 20 brand-new shows from the UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand to look forward to.

Thirty five titles are on the to-watch list this month, including 15 national premieres, two local debuts, and 18 more shows airing or streaming for your (binge-watching) delight.

September means the new fall TV season, and this month brings 16 new programs from Great Britain, Australia, and Canada to stateside cable channels and SVOD services.

A dozen series from the UK, Australia, and Canada, plus a Brit-ified one from the US, premiere on telly in the States this month.

Noir doesn’t necessarily mean Nordic, as is the case with Cardinal, a new crime drama serial from Canada that stars Billy Campbell as the eponymous detective.

Summer’s here and the time is right for tuning into new and returning crime thrillers, documentaries, mysteries, period dramas, and sci-fi series, plus a competition show, from the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
