The Disappearance: Canadian Mystery-Psychological Drama Set to Debut in the US

WGN America is bringing another series from Canada to US audiences: the mystery-psychological drama The Disappearance, starring Primetime Emmy® winner Peter Coyote.

Eighteen new and returning series and specials come to US telly in July, including coverage from two UK flower shows and the final season of a much-loved comedy.

Nineteen new shows and seasons premiere nationally in the US in June, along with nine that debut on public TV stations in local markets across the country.

Seventeen news series and seasons from the UK and Canada make their debuts in the US in May. (Can you believe it’s May already?!?)

April brings 20 new series and returning seasons, the national broadcast premieres of two popular programs, and the local broadcast debuts of eight shows on public TV stations.

March roars in like a lion with 27 shows premiering nationally in the US, plus 4 debuting locally on public TV stations and even more titles being added to streaming services.

Another year has gone by and a couple hundred more British, Irish, and Canadian shows premiered in the US — a list whittled down to my favorites of 2018.

Happy New Year! Kicking off 2019 are series featuring an alien, a witch and a vampire, a monarch, a matriarch, an amateur sleuth, and a beloved detective.

“Pitter patter, let’s get at ‘er.” Okay, then. I can confirm that Hulu is launching Seasons 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Letterkenny in the US on Thursday, December 27.

Twenty-two titles make their series or new season premieres in November, from British crime dramas and comedies to historical dramas and competition shows.

Two popular series from north of the border will be returning to US telly in the not-too-distant future: legal drama Burden of Truth and whodunit drama Frankie Drake Mysteries.
