“Pitter patter, let’s get at ‘er.” Okay, then. I can confirm that Hulu is launching Seasons 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Letterkenny in the US on Thursday, December 27.

For fans of the show in the States (including yours truly), having four more seasons of Letterkenny to binge after Christmas means at least part of the holidays will be a laugh fest.

That we’re getting them so soon — mere months after Hulu premiered Seasons 1 and 2 back in July — speaks to the show’s popularity on the SVOD service and to Hulu’s willingness to keep its stateside fans happy.

For Letterkenny newbies, the rated TV-MA show is a brilliant, award-winning Canadian comedy series set in the fictional rural town of Letterkenny in Ontario, and revolves around various goings-on in the lives of its quirky residents. The most notable one is Wayne, played by series creator and star Jared Keeso (19-2).

Wayne is “the toughest guy in Letterkenny” and the head of a clique known as the Hicks. As such, he gets into fisticuffs with other locals who think they can best him and take the title, as well as spats and dustups with the Hicks’ rivals — the Skids (druggies) and the Hockey Players (self-explanatory).

He also runs a small farm and produce stand with his polyamorous sister, Katy (Michelle Mylett, Ascension). Helping them are their friends, Daryl (Nathan Dales, The Indian Detective) and Dan (K. Trevor Wilson, Man Seeking Woman). More often than not, Letterkenny locals — from the oversexed bartender to the gay pastor — find Wayne and his crew sitting by the produce stand, drinking beer, and pontificating. (Every day in Letterkenny seems to be a slow day.)

What they pontificate about — whether on the farm, at the local watering hole, or in the Ag Hall — doesn’t really matter because the dialogue, which can be downright filthy, crazy silly and/or insanely smart, is hilarious.
