Kicking off the new year — and the new decade! — are 24 brand new shows, seasons, and specials from the UK and Canada, including several highly-anticipated titles.

On average, a brand new or returning series or telefilm from the UK and Canada will premiere in the US every 1.6 days in October.

April brings 20 new series and returning seasons, the national broadcast premieres of two popular programs, and the local broadcast debuts of eight shows on public TV stations.

This October is a lucky month, as it brings 21 new shows and seasons to stateside fans of programs from across the pond and north of the border.

Sky made announcements this morning about three upcoming series, and it’s a given that one will screen in the US. But there’s more besides Sky dramas coming up.

Hot diggity! Filming has started on Good Omens, the six-part adaptation of one of the best fantasy books ever!

Summer’s here and the time is right for tuning into new and returning crime thrillers, documentaries, mysteries, period dramas, and sci-fi series, plus a competition show, from the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
