The Doctor is a lawyer. That is, Doctor Who‘s Tenth Doctor, David Tennant, portrays a barrister whose charmed life becomes a living nightmare in the suspense thriller, The Escape Artist, which debuts in the US this summer.
BBC Two is marking its 50th year, and guess who gets the anniversary present? We do! The gift? Not one but two more series of the critically-acclaimed and viewer-favorite crime drama Line of Duty. Woot!
In the realm of crime dramas, noir is the new black, and the latest series of Line of Duty is as dark and gripping from start to finish as any of the Nordic Noir programs that have crossed the fjords.
