Pitching In: Acorn Co-Producing New Wales-Based Drama Starring Larry Lamb

Filming began this past Monday on Pitching In, the new Acorn co-produced family drama for BBC Wales and BBC One Daytime that stars Larry Lamb.

Set around a caravan park on the north Wales coast, Pitching In tells the story of three generations of the same family — all struggling to make the best of a very unusual, and sometimes very difficult, situation.

Larry Lamb (EastEnders, Gavin & Stacey, New Tricks) leads the cast, which features Golden Globe® and BAFTA Awards winner Hayley Mills (The Parent Trap, Pollyanna, Wild at Heart), Caroline Sheen (Torchwood, Hotel Babylon), and Ifan Huw Dafydd (Requiem, The Indian Doctor).

Said Lamb about Pitching In:

Made by LA Productions (Broken, Moving On), Pitching In has Acorn Media Enterprises joining with Acorn TV as the series’ exclusive North American and Australian co-production partner.
