Autumn is here, and with the crispness of the air and fewer hours of daylight come a bevy of British TV premieres, including some of the most highly-anticipated program returns.
September has arrived, and with it comes must-watch British TV premieres, plus lots more titles (some new-ish, some not) added to the major streaming services.
Production has started on the Starz event miniseries, The White Princess, and Starz has announced the full cast for the highly-anticipated follow-up to The White Queen.
Twenty British, Irish, Australian, and Canadian series premiere nationally in the US in May, while In the Club debuts on, and Scott & Bailey and Shetland return to, public TV stations.
No, this is not an April Fool’s joke. A whopping twenty-one series premiere in or return to the US this month, including some of the most highly-anticipated shows this year.
As narratives go, survival stories are compelling. And so it is with Banished, the star-studded drama about life in Britain’s penal colony in Australia, which just arrived in the US.
