Get a look at the various looks of the Fifteenth Doctor, played by Ncuti Gatwa, and the Time Lord’s new companion, Ruby Sunday, played by Millie Gibson, in the trailer for the first season of the new era of Doctor Who.
The brand-new season sees The Doctor and Ruby travel across time and space in the TARDIS, a time-traveling ship shaped like a police box — having adventures in the groovy ‘60s, Regency-era England, war-torn futures, and beyond, and encountering incredible friends and dangerous foes, including a terrifying bogeyman and The Doctor’s most powerful enemy yet.
The trailer includes a glimpse of the Duchess, the character played by guest star Indira Varma (Game of Thrones). Additional guest cast include Anita Dobson (EastEnders), Yasmin Finney (Heartstopper), Michelle Greenidge (After Life), Bonnie Langford (Doctor Who), Jinkx Monsoon (Sketchy Queens), Jemma Redgrave (Doctor Who), Lenny Rush (Dodger), and Angela Wynter (EastEnders), as well as the just-announced Callie Cooke (Henpocalypse!).
The new season of Doctor Who premieres with two episodes in the US and globally (outside the UK) on Friday, May 10, at 7pm ET, exclusively on Disney+. (In the UK, the premiere starts at midnight on May 11 on BBC iPlayer before it airs on BBC One later that day.)
New episodes will drop Fridays on Disney+, where available, and on Saturdays on the BBC and BBC iPlayer in the UK.
