Today Netflix announced the premiere date and released the official trailer for The Puppet Master: Hunting The Ultimate Conman, the streamer’s latest true-crime docuseries.
Produced by Raw Television, the production company that gave us the Primetime Emmy® Award-winning docuseries Don’t F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer, The Puppet Master: Hunting The Ultimate Conman focuses on a conman instead of a kitty killer.
The titular criminal is Robert Hendy-Freegard. Over the course of two decades, he masqueraded as a British spy, amongst others of his falsehoods, and conned, controlled, and fleeced at least seven women and one man out of almost one million pounds — leaving ruined families and broken lives in his wake.
The Puppet Master: Hunting The Ultimate Conman, a Netflix Original series, premieres globally on Tuesday, January 18, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
