There’s news from the Whoniverse, Whovians, including a new companion and another new character joining The Doctor and Yasmin.
BBC and BBC America presented yesterday the virtual Doctor Who panel at Comic-Con@Home, which featured showrunner Chris Chibnall and cast members Jodie Whittaker (The Doctor), Mandip Gill (Yasmin Khan), and John Bishop, who plays new companion Dan.
Amongst the news they shared was a new character, Vinder, played by Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones, Broadchurch), who makes his debut in the upcoming Season 13. Check him out in the teaser below.
Also new is the format for Season 13: the shortened, now eight-episode season will tell a single story.
