Downton Abbey: Season 3 Sneak Peaks

At long last, we have our first look at what’s coming up in the new season of Downton Abbey. ITV has released a couple of teaser videos, and while they may be short, Dame Maggie Smith’s Dowager Countess Violet makes them doozies. And Shirley MacLaine’s Martha Levinson is no shrinking violet either.

Downton‘s Season 3 premiere on January 6 can’t get here soon enough (sigh).

Premiere Date and New Trailers for Doctor Who: Season 7

Woo hoo, Whovians! The BBC and BBC America announced yesterday that Asylum of the Daleks, the first episode of the new season of Doctor Who, will premiere on both networks on Saturday, September 1. Here in the U.S., it will air at 9PM Eastern as part of BBC America’s Supernatural Saturday.

In the lead-up to the premiere, BBC America will air its last Doctor Who special, The Destinations of Doctor Who, this Saturday, August 25, at 9PM Eastern. Here’s the trailer for it:
