Acorn TV announced today that Joe Lando has joined the cast of Harry Wild.
If the name Joe Lando rings a bell, it’s because the actor costarred with his friend, Jane Seymour, in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. And now they’re back together on screen, as he’s joining her for Season 5 of her latest hit series, Harry Wild.
Lando will play Pierce Kennedy, the new State Pathologist, a charming and handsome natural ally for Harry (Seymour, The Kominsky Method, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, B Positive), the titular amateur detective.
In Season 5, Harry and her sidekick, Fergus (Rohan Nedd, Whitstable Pearl), are back with their most sensational and thrilling ride yet, including murder mysteries in the world of whiskey-making, theatre and musical tattoos, not to mention a gang of middle-aged lady burglars and a murder close to home.
Also reprising their roles are Kevin Ryan (Guilt, The South Westerlies), Rose O’Neill (Anniversary), Samantha Mumba (The Time Machine, Evolution), Paul Tylak (Kin), and Aoife Mulholland (Great Performances: Chess in Concert).
Production on Season 5 began this week in Dublin, Ireland. The new season consists of six episodes and will debut in 2026.
But before then, we can look forward to the two-part Harry Wild special, which premieres Monday, November 24, exclusively on Acorn TV.
