Netflix has announced the cast for Lockwood & Co, its new Original supernatural ghost-hunting series.
Acting talent ranging from newcomers to industry pros make up the cast of Lockwood & Co. Leading the cast is Ruby Stokes (Bridgerton), who stars in the series alongside Cameron Chapman (in his first TV series) and Ali Hadji-Heshmati (Holby City).
Amongst London’s most gifted teenage ghost-hunters, who venture nightly into perilous combat with deadly spirits, one group stands alone. They are independent of any commercial imperative or adult supervision, a tiny startup run by teenage boys Anthony Lockwood (Cameron Chapman) and George Karim (Ali Hadji-Heshmati), and Lucy Carlyle (Ruby Stokes), a newly-arrived, supremely psychically-gifted girl — a renegade trio destined to unravel a mystery that will change the course of history. They are Lockwood & Co.
Cast members also include Ivanno Jeremiah (Humans) as Inspector Barnes, Luke Treadaway (Ordeal by Innocence) as The Golden Blade, Morven Christie (The Bay) as Penelope Fittes, Jack Bandeira (Silent Witness) as Quill Kipps, Ben Crompton (Game of Thrones) as Julius Winkman, Hayley Konadu (The Third Day) as Flo Bones, Rhianna Dorris (Secret Life of Boys) as Kat Godwin, and Paddy Holland (Invasion) as Bobby Vernon.
A production of Complete Fiction, the 8 x 60-minute drama is based on Jonathan Stroud‘s multi-award-winning “Lockwood & Co.” series of young adult novels. Joe Cornish (Attack the Block, The Kid Who Would Be King, Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn) is the lead director/writer. The executive producers are Nira Park, Rachael Prior, and Joe Cornish.
Stay tuned for updates.
