Prime Video has released the official trailer for Deep Cover, a new action-crime comedy film with a star-studded cast. Check it out!

Like everything else, crime comedies, with or without the action element, can be hit or miss. Deep Cover looks like a lot of fun, so hopefully it will be on the hit side of things.
It features a who’s who of acting talent from both sides of the pond, so it’s already off to a good start. The cast includes stars Bryce Dallas Howard (“Jurassic World” franchise, Black Mirror), Orlando Bloom (“The Lord of the Rings” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise), and Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso, Renegade Nell), along with Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon, MobLand), Sonoya Mizuno (House of the Dragon, Devs), Ian McShane (Lovejoy, Deadwood), and Sean Bean (Snowpiercer, Time).
Story-wise, Deep Cover follows Kat (Bryce Dallas Howard), an improv comedy teacher who’s starting to question if she’s missed her shot at success. When an undercover cop (Sean Bean) offers her the role of a lifetime, she recruits two of her students (Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed) to impersonate dangerous criminals in order to infiltrate London’s gangland.
Deep Cover, an Amazon Original Movie, premieres globally on Thursday, June 12, exclusively on Prime Video. (You can add it to your watchlist now.)
Directed by Tom Kingsley (Ghosts, Stath Lets Flats), the film is written by Derek Connolly & Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World Dominion) and Ben Ashenden & Alexander Owen (Walliams & Friend). The producers are Colin Trevorrow, Walter F. Parkes, and Laurie MacDonald.
