Mark your calendars, folks! Season 3 of the terrific McDonald & Dodds is headed to BritBox North America next month!
They’re back!
They, of course, are the ambitious and feisty DCI Lauren McDonald (Tala Gouveia, Click & Collect, Cold Feet) and the humble and unassuming DS Dodds (Jason Watkins, The Crown, Hold the Sunset) — a mismatched pair of police detectives who happen to make quite an effective, murder-solving team in the picturesque city of Bath, England.
In Season 3, the detective duo is called to investigate the mysterious deaths of a young Irishwoman, a famous Formula 1 driver, and a wealthy businessman.

Joining the series’ regular cast are Claire Skinner (Outnumbered), Charlie Chambers, and Danyal Ismail (Vera), along with returning cast member Lily Sacofsky (Bancroft).
Guest stars in the new season include Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek), Siân Phillips (I, Claudius), Paul McGann (Annika), and Ben Batt (Scott & Bailey), amongst others.
McDonald & Dodds: Season 3, a BritBox Original, premieres in North America on Tuesday, August 16, exclusively on BritBox. New episodes will debut weekly through August 30.
