Peacock announced today the US premiere date for Trigger Point, the action-crime thriller series starring Vicky McClure.
Stateside British TV fans, mark your calendars for Trigger Point, the drama thriller produced by Jed Mercurio’s HTM Television for ITV. It premieres in the US in its six-episode entirety on Friday, July 8, exclusively on Peacock.
Set in the high-pressured world of bomb disposal, Trigger Point stars Vicky McClure (Line of Duty, Alex Rider, This is England ’86/’99/’90) as Lana Washington, an ex-military bomb disposal operative (‘Expo’) who leads a bomb squad for the Metropolitan Police.
When a terrorist campaign threatens the city of London over one summer, Lana and her team of Expos are at the forefront of urgent efforts to find out who is behind the bombings before the number of fatalities escalates. Under extreme pressure and searching for answers, Lana becomes suspicious that the bomber is actually targeting her unit — but how does she prove it and discover the bomber’s real identity?
