Based on Audrey Niffenegger‘s much-loved, best-selling novel of the same name, The Time Traveler’s Wife premieres in the US on Sunday, May 15, on HBO. It will be available to stream on HBO Max.

The six-episode contemporary drama is an intricate and magical love story about Clare Abshire (Rose Leslie, Game of Thrones, Vigil, The Good Fight) and Henry DeTamble (Theo James, Sanditon, Downton Abbey, Bedlam) and a marriage with a problem: time travel.

Adapted by Steven Moffat (Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who) and directed by David Nutter (Game of Thrones, Band of Brothers), the drama costars Desmin Borges (You’re the Worst) as Gomez and Natasha Lopez (Law & Order: SVU) as Charisse.

A production of HBO and Warner Bros. Television, the series is executive produced by Steven Moffat, David Nutter, Sue Vertue, and Brian Minchin through Hartswood Films, and Joseph E. Iberti.
