The Great Pottery Throw Down, a fan-favorite unscripted reality-competition series on both sides of the pond, returns in one week with a brand-new 10-episode season.

Season 5 features twelve new contestants who put their pottery skills to the test in their quest to be named Britain’s best home potter. Who amongst them will make a 5-piece children’s crockery set, a Raku Japanese tea set, and a trio of garden gnomes, amongst other items, that are good enough to pass muster with the judges and allow them to move on to the next round?

Speaking of judges, both master potter Keith Brymer Jones and ceramics expert Rich Miller are back for judging duties and put the potters through their paces. New this season is the show having co-hosts; joining Siobhán McSweeney (Derry Girls), who became the host in Season 4, is Ellie Taylor (Ted Lasso).

The Great Pottery Throw Down: Season 5, a Max Original, premieres in the US in its entirety on Thursday, April 14, exclusively on HBO Max.
