Based on A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, the best-selling YA novel by Holly Jackson, this six-episode whodunit thriller series follows Pip Fitz-Amobi (Emma Myers, Wednesday), a 17-year-old student who delves into the mystery of who killed a popular high school student in her small town five years ago.
Actually, there were two victims: Andie Bell, officially declared to have been murdered by her boyfriend, Sal Singh, who then took his own life. Everyone in town, cops included, believes he did it. The Mallorca Files: Season 3 (UK-France-Germany-Spain)
The oil-and-water detective team of ambitious British detective Miranda Blake (Elen Rhys, Consent, The One That Got Away) and her laid-back German partner, Max Winter (Julian Looman, The Ibiza Affair, Constellation), are back for more crime-solving duties on the glamorous and sun-drenched Spanish island of Mallorca. Industry: Season 3 (UK)
In the eight-episode third season of this critically-acclaimed drama, international bank Pierpoint & Co looks to the future and takes a big bet on ethical investing. Yasmin (Marisa Abela, Cobra), Robert (Harry Lawtey, Magpie Murders), and Eric (Ken Leung, The Night Shift) find themselves front and center in the splashy IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company led by Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington, Game of Thrones), a story that runs all the way to the top of finance, media, and government. Granite Harbour: Season 2 (UK/Scotland)
Set in Aberdeen, Scotland, the new season of this crime drama is a three-part story that sees Lindo (Romario Simpson, Andor), Bart (Hannah Donaldson, Irvine Welsh’s Crime), and the Murder Investigation Team (MIT) investigate two fatal cases with dark consequences, immersing the MIT in the granite city’s criminal underworld. When drug kingpin Grace McFadden’s (Lesley Hart, River City) notorious fixer turns up dead, the MIT have their work cut out to find the source of a new cocaine and ketamine compound flooding the streets. Fearing that an impending drugs-turf war is brewing, the team fights to uncover the truth.

Avoidance: Season 2 (UK)

The White Princess (UK-US)

- A Discovery of Witches: Seasons 1-3 (UK) — Based on the “All Souls” novel series by Deborah Harkness, this fantasy series follows Diana Bishop (Teresa Palmer, The Clearing), a historian and reluctant witch, who discovers a bewitched manuscript about magical beings in the Bodleian Library in Oxford, and soon learns that vampires and daemons are after it. Helping her to unravel the manuscript’s secrets and protect both the book and Diana is vampire Matthew Clairmont (Matthew Goode, Downton Abbey). A Discovery of Witches: Seasons 1-3 begins its one-year streaming run on Netflix on Monday, August 19.
