For the upcoming Season 13 of perennial PBS audience favorite Call the Midwife, episodes will be available to stream in advance of their broadcast premieres for many viewers.
“Membership has its privileges.” From warehouse stores like Costco, to specialty programs like AARP, being a member affords certain benefits, like savings on goods and services.
For folks who are qualified members of PBS stations that participate in the PBS Passport program, one of the privileges is the ability to stream each regular season episode of Season 13 of Call the Midwife a whopping 30 days in advance of its broadcast premiere on PBS.
Season 13 of the hit period drama kicked off on Christmas Day with the 2023 holiday special, and the regular season of Call the Midwife will run from Sunday, March 17, through Sunday, May 5, 2024 (starting at 8pm ET). For folks with Passport, you’ll be able to stream each new weekly episode from Friday, February 16, through Friday, April 5.
Sooner than that for Passport “holders” is the ability to binge-stream all of the brand-new episodes of Season 4 of viewer favorite period drama All Creatures Great and Small, Season 4 of the hit period mystery series Miss Scarlet and The Duke, and the new period dramedy Funny Woman — all of which will be available on Passport when their first episodes premiere on PBS this Sunday, January 7, starting at 8pm ET. There’s more. Folks with Passport also have access to on-demand streaming of all of the titles made available by your PBS station — including past (and present, as applicable) seasons of programs provided by PBS (like the ones above), titles acquired by the station itself (e.g. Scottish mystery series Hamish Macbeth on Maryland Public Television), and original-language, English-subtitled shows (mostly from Europe) included in the PBS Distribution-Walter Presents partnership (e.g. the hit French mystery-crime drama series Astrid).
