Based on Harlan Coben‘s eponymous novel, this mystery thriller follows Maya Stern (Michelle Keegan, Brassic, Our Girl), who is trying to come to terms with the brutal murder of her husband, Joe (Richard Armitage, Stay Close, The Stranger). But when Maya installs a nanny-cam to keep an eye on her young daughter, she is shocked to see a man she recognizes in her house: her supposedly dead husband. Leading the homicide investigation into Joe’s death is Detective Sergeant Sami Kierce (Adeel Akhtar, Sherwood, Sweet Tooth), who is grappling with secrets of his own. Meanwhile, Maya’s niece and nephew, Abby and Daniel, are trying to find out the truth about the murder of their mother, which happened several months earlier. Could these two cases be connected?

Mrs. Brown’s Boys New Year’s Day Special 2024 (UK)
During the holiday season, Mrs. Brown’s (Brendan O’Carroll) quest for a peaceful Christmas is thwarted as Cathy takes on cooking, a sentimental decoration disappears, and a surprise guest disrupts the tranquility. As the New Year begins, the gang tackles a challenging health regimen, prompting Agnes to confront mysteries from the past raised by a mysterious visitor to Finglas. Mrs. Brown’s Boys New Year’s Day Special 2024 premieres in the US only on Monday, January 1, 2024, exclusively on BritBox.
Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale (UK)
Based on V.V. James’s novel Sanctuary, this new fantasy drama series is set in Sanctuary, an idyllic English town where witchcraft is real and witches have lived peacefully as valued members of society for hundreds of years. Folks here rely on the town’s resident witch, Sarah Fenn (Elaine Cassidy, No Offence, Acceptable Risk, The Ghost Squad), to solve their problems when conventional remedies have failed. But when local teen rugby star Dan Whithall dies tragically in an apparent accident, his death exposes a terrifying undercurrent of suspicion and fear toward Sarah and her teenage daughter, Harper (Hazel Doupe, Smother, You Are Not My Mother). The mother of the dead boy, Abigail (Amy de Bhrun, Hidden Assets, Line of Duty), once Sarah’s closest friend, is wracked with grief, so, to avenge her son’s death, she launches a modern-day witch hunt to get “justice,” no matter the cost.

James May: Our Man in India (UK)
Following on from his travels in Our Man in Japan and Our Man in Italy, James May, with his signature dry humor intact, sets off on his greatest adventure yet: an epic 3,000 mile, coast-to-coast journey across India, the most populous country in the world. Starting by the Arabian Sea and finishing at the Bay of Bengal, his tour of the country will encompass incredible landscapes — from the baking deserts of Rajasthan, to the dramatic Himalayan foothills — and explore environments as diverse as the mangrove forests of the Sundarbans, through to the global megacities of Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata.
James May: Our Man in India, an Amazon Original, premieres globally in its three-episode entirety on Friday, January 5, 2024, exclusively on Prime Video.
All Creatures Great and Small: Season 4 (UK)
Opening in spring 1940, the new season of this hit period drama sees the community in Darrowby pulling together more than ever before as Europe is at war. With Tristan away serving, Siegfried (Samuel West) and James (Nicholas Ralph) bring in some extra hands to help around the practice, including highly-efficient bookkeeper Miss Harbottle (Neve McIntosh, Shetland) and student vet Richard Carmody (James Anthony-Rose, Slow Horses). Meanwhile, happily-married Helen (Rachel Shenton) and James begin to think about their future, despite the looming possibility that James could be called up to serve.

Funny Woman: Season 1 (UK)
Based on the best-selling novel Funny Girl by Nick Hornby, this new six-episode dramedy series stars Gemma Arterton (The King’s Man, Rogue Agent) as Barbara Parker, a small-town beauty queen who decides to swap her pageant life for comedy television in 1960s London. After landing a TV show audition, Barbara finds that being a woman in a largely male environment has its own challenges. As she “finds her funny” voice, Barbara redefines the prevailing attitude toward funny women while on a mission to reinvent herself.
The series charts Barbara’s meteoric rise from small-town beauty queen to pioneering female comic — following her journey as she tries to find fame and purpose in the city while facing dispiriting setbacks along the way to stardom. As the lone woman making her way in comedy, Barbara battles attitudes about gender while forging her own comedic voice and unique brand. In the end, Barbara redefines assumptions about female comics and achieves hard-won professional and personal growth.

Miss Scarlet and The Duke: Season 4 (UK)
In the new season of this fan-favorite mystery series, Eliza (Kate Phillips) has taken over the business of Nash & Sons and things are not going entirely smoothly. However, help comes from some familiar sources, including her longtime friend, William “The Duke” Wellington (Stuart Martin). Outside of work, her relationship with him builds toward a looming decision that will shape both their lives.

Blind Spot (UK)
This four-part thriller follows Hannah Quinn (Beth Alsbury, Irl), a disabled CCTV monitor working in a rough estate, who witnesses a known violent criminal leading a young woman into a CCTV blind spot and becomes convinced that the the woman has been murdered. However, she faces resistance from DS Tony Warden (Ross Kemp, EastEnders), the apathetic cop assigned to the case.
Blind Spot premieres in North America as a four-episode binge on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, exclusively on BritBox.
Break Point: Season 2 (UK)

Criminal Record (UK)

This three-part Nature special presents six tiny animals who make epic journeys — where grasses appear like skyscrapers, mounds become mountains, and raindrops fall as big as cars — to find a home or a mate, risking it all against the odds.

Champion (UK)
This drama follows musician Bosco Champion (Malcolm Kamulete, Top Boy), a rapper who’s out of prison and ready for a comeback — until his sister, Vita (Déja J. Bowens, South Facing), steps out of her brother’s shadow to become a performer in her own right, setting the Champion siblings against one another and tearing apart the whole family in the process.

Children Ruin Everything: Season 3 (CA)
In the new season of this half-hour comedy series, Meaghan Rath (Hawaii Five-0) and Aaron Abrams (Hannibal) return as Astrid and James, parents who struggle to hold onto their identities while raising their two young children in the city.

Skymed: Season 2 (CA)
Following on from the events in Season 1, the new season of this high-stakes medical drama series thrusts the diverse group of medical responders into intense emergencies as they continue to rely on each other for survival at 20,000 feet in the air, as SkyMed expands its medevac service into new territory, and as new flight crew members arrive.
Returning for Season 2 are series regulars Natasha Calis (Nurses), Morgan Holmstrom (Day of the Dead), Praneet Akilla (Nancy Drew), “Ace” Aason Nadjiwon (Honey Girls), Mercedes Morris (Y: The Last Man), Thomas Elms (The Order), and Kheon Clarke (Riverdale), as well as Braeden Clarke (Outlander), Emilia McCarthy (Zombies), and Aaron Ashmore (Ginny & Georgia), who reprise their recurring roles. Gordon Ramsay’s Road Trip: Spanish Vacation (UK)
In Season 4 of Gordon Ramsay’s Road Trip, Gordon Ramsay (Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay’s Home Cooking), Gino D’Acampo (Gino’s Italian Escape, Gino’s Italy: Like Mamma Used to Make), and Fred Sirieix (Million Pound Menu, Wine Uncorked) head to Spain, where they sell seafood and taste tapas in Malaga, sample sherry and try their hand (well, feet) at flamenco in Jerez, and explore the wild coastline of Galicia, known for its Celtic roots.
Gordon Ramsay’s Road Trip: Spanish Vacation premieres Friday, January 12, 2024, on Hulu.
Belgravia: The Next Chapter (UK-US)
Set in the affluent London district of Belgravia in 1871, three decades after the events in Belgravia, this eight-episode drama tells the love story of Frederick Trenchard (Benjamin Wainwright, World on Fire), the third Lord Trenchard, and his new love interest, Clara Dunn (Harriet Slater, Pennyworth), a newcomer to London society. Unaware that his birth was the product of an affair between his mother, Susan (Alice Eve, Belgravia), and the scoundrel John Bellasis (Adam James, Belgravia), Frederick’s troubled childhood has left him deeply insecure, which challenges his courtship of, and marriage to, Clara.
The cast includes Edward Bluemel (A Discovery of Witches), Toby Regbo (The Last Kingdom), Hannah Onslow (This Is Going to Hurt), Sophie Thompson (Detectorists), Claude Perron (Emily in Paris), Sophie Winkleman (Sanditon), and Elaine Cassidy (No Offence), as well as Richard Goulding from the original series.
Belgravia: The Next Chapter premieres in the US on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 9 PM ET/PT, exclusively on MGM+. (Stateside viewers will be able to catch up on the original Belgravia for free on the MGM+ app and across participating partner platforms from December 31, 2023–February 29, 2024.)
Blue Lights: Season 1 (UK/Northern Ireland)
Set in Belfast, Blue Lights follows three new police recruits — Grace (Siân Brooke, Trying, Good Omens), Annie (Katherine Devlin, Vikings, The Dig), and Tommy (Nathan Braniff) — as the rookies learn the ropes in a high-pressure environment. Forty-something Grace, the mother of a teenage boy, has made the decision to leave her steady job as a social worker and join the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI). Annie struggles with the fact that her chosen path means leaving everything she’s ever known behind. And Tommy is desperate to prove himself, despite being utterly inept at the practical side of frontline response policing.
All three are in their probation period with the PSNI, and the odds are at least one of them isn’t going to last. The pressures of dealing with divided communities and criminal gangs and struggling to know who to trust, all while wondering if they’ve made the right choice in joining the PSNI, are immense. And if they succumb to them, they won’t survive.

Family Law: Season 3 (CA)
In this legal drama’s new season, Abby (Jewel Staite, Stargate: Atlantis, Firefly), now clear of her probation and divorce, is riding high at her father’s law firm, but the hard work of reckoning with her past is just starting. She moves on to AA’s Step Four — writing her moral inventory — and begins her nesting arrangement with Frank (Luke Camilleri, Billy the Kids, Hemlock Grove). On her off weeks, she still lives with her mother, Joanne (Lauren Holly, Picket Fences, Designated Survivor), whose rekindled relationship with Abby’s father, Harry (Victor Garber, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Alias), is churning up Abby’s childhood trauma.
Meanwhile, Harry revels in the cutthroat competition between Abby and her half-brother, Daniel (Zach Smadu, Cardinal, The Expanse), for top earner at the firm — until his reckless past comes back to haunt him. Daniel’s romance with Martina (Miranda Edwards, Snowpiercer, The Magicians) is cut short when her boyfriend, Quinn (Thomas Cadrot, So Help Me Todd), returns; it also takes on a new layer of complexity when Quinn befriends Daniel. And Abby’s half-sister, Lucy (Genelle Williams, Bitten, Warehouse 13), in trying to find her feet after being betrayed, throws herself into a new relationship — one that she intends to make work no matter what.
Family Law: Season 3 premieres in the US on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 9 PM ET/PT, on The CW.
Wild Cards (CA)
This crime-solving procedural with a comedic twist follows the unlikely duo of a sardonic, by-the-book cop and a clever, spirited con woman. Demoted detective Cole Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti, Grey’s Anatomy, Murdoch Mysteries) has begrudgingly spent the last year on the maritime unit, while Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan, Riverdale, Finding Carter) has been living a transient life, scamming everyone she meets. While arrested and being held at the station, Max ends up helping Ellis solve a crime, and the two are offered the opportunity to redeem themselves. But there’s a catch: They have to work together.
Ellis needs to get back to his detective post and Max needs to stay out of jail, so they agree to use their unique skills to solve crimes together. For Ellis, this means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, disguises, schemes, and befriending everyone in sight (while driving Ellis nuts). The two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.

Sort Of: Season 3 (CA)
This Peabody Award-winning series returns for its third and final season, bringing to a close the coming-of-age story of Sabi (series co-creator Bilal Baig), a gender fluid millennial who’s in transition in every aspect of their life. The death of Sabi’s father continues to be the catalyst for change in their world, and their life is about to get shaken up as they embrace the freedom that comes with taking big risks.
Sort Of: Season 3, a Max Original, premieres in the US on Thursday, January 18, 2024, exclusively on Max.
The Kitchen (UK)
Set in a dystopian future London, this sci-fi drama follows an unlikely pair as they forge a relationship in a system that is stacked against them. Izi (Kano, Top Boy) lives in The Kitchen, the only housing estate remaining in London and the last place left for the city’s most disadvantaged residents. Izi, here by necessity, is close to escaping, while other residents refuse to leave the place they call home. Meanwhile, Benji (Jedaiah Bannerman), a 12-year-old boy who has lost his mother, is searching for a family. When he enters Izi’s life, Izi faces some hard decisions amid rising injustice and encroaching gentrification.

LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland (IE)
Hosted by Graham Norton, this series is the local Irish version of Prime Video’s hit comedy competition format. It will feature ten of Ireland’s biggest and best comedic talent, including Aisling Bea (This Way Up), Amy Huberman (Finding Joy), Catherine Bohart (The Stand Up Sketch Show), David McSavage (The Savage Eye), Deirdre O’Kane (Moone Boy), Emma Doran (Bridget & Eamon), Jason Byrne (Father Figure), Martin Angolo (Róise & Frank), Paul Tylak (Bad Sisters), and Tony Cantwell (Finding Joy).
Graham Norton will use his trademark wit while overseeing these ten comedic stars, brought together to make each other laugh by using every unpredictable comedic tool in the box — without cracking a smile themselves. There’s an added bonus of celebrity cameos, whose performances will have viewers, but hopefully not their fellow stars, laughing out loud. As the clock counts down and the tension rises, whoever can outlast their competitors will be crowned the first winner of LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland and win a grand prize of €50,000 for their charity of choice.

The Woman in the Wall (UK)
This six-episode drama thriller centers on Lorna Brady (Ruth Wilson, The Affair, His Dark Materials, Luther), a woman from the small (fictional) Irish town of Kilkinure, who wakes one morning to find the body of a dead woman in her house. Lorna has no idea who this person is (rather, was), or if she, herself, is responsible for the apparent murder, since she’s been suffering from extreme bouts of sleepwalking ever since she was ripped from her life at the age of 15 and incarcerated in The Kilkinure Convent, a (fictional) home to one of Ireland’s infamous Magdalene Laundries for women. It was there that Lorna gave birth to her daughter, Agnes, who cruelly was taken from her and whose fate Lorna never has known.
Meanwhile, Detective Colman Akande (Daryl McCormack, Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, Peaky Blinders) is on Lorna’s tail for a crime seemingly unrelated to the body she discovered in her house. His scathing wit hides a quiet sadness, and when he meets Lorna, he finds himself forced to confront his own haunting secrets. As Colman searches for a murderer and Lorna searches for her daughter, their paths collide in ways they never could have anticipated.

Father Brown: Season 11 (UK)
Mark Williams (“Harry Potter” films) returns as the titular soul-saving and mystery-solving Catholic priest in a brand-new season of the smash hit whodunit series. Season 11 features compelling new murder mystery stories, including ones set at an arts-and-crafts fair, a crime-writing festival, and a “food fayre to die for.” Guest starring Lorna Watson as fellow sleuth and person of the cloth Sister Boniface, Father Brown: Season 11 premieres in North America with two episodes on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, exclusively on BritBox. New episodes will be released each week through March 19.
The Jonathan Ross Show Christmas Special 2023 (UK)
In this special, British showbiz giant Jonathan Ross takes a look back at some of the most memorable moments from recent seasons of his popular talk show, which features guests Oprah Winfrey, Sandra Bullock, Tom Hanks, James Corden, Paul McCartney, Celine Dion, Michael Douglas, Kit Harrington, Samuel Jackson, Jack Black, David Attenborough, Brian Cox, Dame Joan Collins, Alex Scott, Rob Beckett, Duran Duran, Ed Sheeran, John Barnes, Judi Love, and Will Poulter. This new crime drama series, a prequel to the 2000 film Sexy Beast, explores the origins of the complicated relationship between criminals Gal Dove (James McArdle, Mare of Easttown, Angels in America) and Don Logan (Emun Elliott, Guilt, The Gold), as they descend into the seductive madness of London’s criminal world during the vibrant and volatile 1990s, while Gal’s budding relationship with Deedee (Sarah Greene, Bad Sisters, Dublin Murders) threatens everything in their lives.

This half-hour comedy series, based on Son of a Critch: A Childish Newfoundland Memoir, the award-winning, best-selling memoir from series co-creator Mark Critch (Republic of Doyle), returns to continue telling the coming-of-age story of Mark Critch (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, The Haunting of Bly Manor), a lad growing up in 1980s Newfoundland.

Border Control: Spain: Season 3 (UK)

Now in its fifth decade, this cherished turn-of-year tradition brings pomp, circumstance, and good old-fashioned fun to the UK capital, and via telly to many parts of the US. The event raises spirits along its iconic parade route through the ancient city of Westminster, where cultural and community groups, as well as more than 20 US marching bands and a thousand varsity cheerleaders, rub shoulders with leading professional entertainers and the mayors of London. London’s New Year’s Day Parade 2024 premieres in the US on most public TV stations and regional networks across the country. Doctor Finlay: Seasons 1-4 (UK/Scotland)
Based on A. J. Cronin‘s stories about fictional medical hero Dr. Finlay, this popular mid-1990s series on PBS’s Masterpiece Theatre chronicles life in the Scottish town of Tannochbrae, as people come to terms with post-war problems. Among them is Dr. Finlay (David Rintoul, The Crown), who finds civilian life in rural Scotland as turbulent as his days in the Royal Army Medical Corps during the war. Royal Autopsy begins streaming Thursday, January 18, 2024.
The Repair Shop: Seasons 1-2 (UK)
One of the absolute best feel-good reality series, this show follows the goings-on at the Repair Shop, a workshop where broken or damaged family heirlooms, many of which have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history, are brought back to life. With furniture restorer Jay Blades serving as a foreman of sorts, the series sees professional craftspeople, including carpenters, horologists, metal workers, ceramicists, upholsterers, painting conservators, and others, brought together to work in one space to restore much-loved possessions to their former glory. The Repair Shop: Seasons 1-2 begins streaming Thursday, January 25, 2024.
Murderland (UK)
This crime thriller tells the story of a traumatic murder through the eyes of three characters: Carrie (Bel Powley, A Small Light), the victim’s daughter; Hain (Robbie Coltrane, Cracker, “Harry Potter” films), the detective in charge of the case; and Sally (Lucy Cohu, Cobra), the murder victim.
