A quick heads-up that Ovation TV’s four-season run of Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators continues this weekend with the start of Season 2.
Ovation TV kicked off its four-season run of Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators with Season 1 back in June. It continues this weekend with the channel’s debut of Season 2, with two back-to-back episodes airing Saturday, July 29, at 7 PM and 8 PM ET, on Ovation TV’s Mystery Alley programming destination, and subsequent episodes dropping with the same frequency and in the same time slots through Saturday, August 26.
Created by Paul Matthew Thompson (Vera) and Jude Tindall (Father Brown), the light and humorous murder mystery drama series stars Mark Benton (The Nevers, Waterloo Road) as hard-boiled detective Frank Hathaway and Jo Joyner (Ackley Bridge, EastEnders) as his rookie sidekick-turned-business partner Lu Shakespeare. With help from their assistant, aspiring actor Sebastian (Patrick Walshe McBride, Dracula), they investigate various crimes in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Season 3 of Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators will premiere on Ovation TV on Saturday, September 2 at 7 PM ET, followed by the start of Season 4 on Saturday, October 7, also at 7 PM ET.
