They’re baaack! Well, they will be soon, as in Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, who return in Long Way Home, the new installment of their motorcycle adventure series.
Following on from Long Way Round, Long Way Down, and Long Way Up, actors and best mates Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting, “Star Wars” films) and Charley Boorman (Hope and Glory, Excalibur) are getting back on motorbikes — this time, refurbished vintage ones — for another epic travel adventure.
In Long Way Home, their latest road trip takes them from Ewan’s home in Scotland to Charley’s in England. But rather than taking the shortest route, they go the long way! Heading across the North Sea to Scandinavia, they ride all the way up to the Arctic Circle and then down to the Baltics and through continental Europe, before eventually hopping back over the English Channel two months later.
It’s an adventure that takes them to more than fifteen countries, through spectacular scenery, and along some of the greatest driving roads in the world. Along the way, they immerse themselves in each country’s culture, meet the locals, and try their hand at unique and eclectic activities.
Long Way Home premieres globally on Friday, May 9, exclusively on Apple TV+.
