BritBox has set its slate for April, which includes the new seasons of hit whodunit series Beyond Paradise and Sister Boniface Mysteries, amongst other titles.

Five series return to North America when their new seasons and episode premiere in April exclusively on BritBox, including:

QI: Season 21 (UK)

It’s time for Season U of this quirky, hilarious, and long-running panel program hosted by comedian Sandi Toksvig and featuring permanent panelist Alan Davies along with three guest panelists. The twist on this much-loved and long-standing quiz show is that points are awarded to interesting answers given for tough, obscure questions, regardless of whether they’re correct or even relevant. QI: Season 21 premieres in North America on Monday, April 1, exclusively on BritBox.

Beyond Paradise: Season 2 (UK)

Having officially kicked off with the 2023 Christmas special, this popular whodunit series, a spinoff of the hit series Death in Paradise, returns with a half-dozen new episodes that find DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall, Sanditon, My Family) solving more mysteries in picturesque Devon. Beyond Paradise: Season 2, a BritBox Original, premieres in North America on Thursday, April 4, exclusively on BritBox, with new episodes dropping weekly through May 9.

Hope Street: Season 3B (UK/NI)

This Northern Irish cop drama returns with the back half of its third season — seven new episodes that feature more cases for the Port Devine police department to solve while chronicling the trials and tribulations of their private lives. Hope Street: Season 3B, a BritBox Original, premieres in North America on Tuesday, April 9, exclusively on BritBox.

Sister Boniface Mysteries: Season 3 (UK)

Lorna Watson returns as TV’s favorite Vespa-driving, crime-solving Catholic nun in the third season of this cozy mystery series, which officially started with the Christmas special back in December. The guest cast this season includes Rupert Vansittart (Game of Thrones, Gentleman Jack), Siobhan Redmond (Queens of Mystery, Two Doors Down), and Timothy West (Last Tango in Halifax, Gentleman Jack).

In the new episodes, Sister Boniface assists the police with their investigations after a famous organist is murdered mid-tune in the chapel, Great Slaughter’s first sci-fi convention results in a mysterious kidnapping, and a “dead cert” at the screen tests for the new “Agent Best” ends up dead. To top it all off, Felix (Jerry Iwu, Innocent) has a challenge of his own when his fiancée, Victoria, arrives from Bermuda with an ultimatum that could change everything.

Sister Boniface Mysteries: Season 3, a BritBox Original, premieres in North America on Wednesday, April 24, exclusively on BritBox, with two episodes dropping weekly through May 15.

Screw: Season 2 (UK)

The new season of this prison drama picks up where that dramatic Season 1 finale left off. Officer Henry (Nina Sosanya, Marcella, Last Tango in Halifax) learns that an undercover police officer has been placed on the wing. Who is it? And why are they there? Screw: Season 2 premieres in North America as a six-episode binge on Friday, April 26, exclusively on BritBox.

And there’s more besides headed to BritBox next month, details of which will be included in our “April premieres” at the end of this month.
