Rowan Atkinson will back on telly soon, in the new Netflix short-form comedy series Man vs Bee. Check out the trailer.
Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean, Maigret) plays the titular man in Man vs Bee, a new short-form comedy series of nine ten-minute episodes.
The man’s name is Trevor, and he’s a bit of a mess. A lovable but bumbling husband and father, he lands a job as a house-sitter, and his first assignment is a luxurious mansion — one filled with priceless artwork and classic cars, as well as an adorable dog called Cupcake.
When a bee lands on the scene, Trevor does his best to keep everything under control. From the looks of the trailer, he’s anything but successful — with chaos unfolding at every turn and irreparable damage being done in the process of the raucous rivalry between man and bee.
The cast includes Jing Lusi (Gangs of London), Julian Rhind-Tutt (Britannia), Greg McHugh (The A Word), India Fowler (Safe), Claudie Blakley (Manhunt), and Tom Basden (After Life).
Man Vs Bee, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Friday, June 24, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
