HBO has released new images from The Time Traveler’s Wife, its upcoming US-UK television adaptation of the best-selling novel.
Based on Audrey Niffenegger‘s much-loved, best-selling novel of the same name, The Time Traveler’s Wife is an intricate and magical love story about Clare and Henry, and a marriage with a problem: time travel.
The six-episode first season stars Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones, Vigil, The Good Fight) as Clare Abshire and Theo James (Sanditon, Downton Abbey, Bedlam) as Henry DeTamble, along with Desmin Borges (You’re the Worst) as Gomez and Natasha Lopez (Law & Order: SVU) as Charisse.
An HBO and Warner Bros. Television production, the series is written by two-time Primetime Emmy® Award winner Steven Moffat (Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who) and directed by three-time Emmy Award winner David Nutter (Game of Thrones, Band of Brothers). The executive producers are Steven Moffat, Sue Vertue, and Brian Minchin through Hartswood Films; Joseph E. Iberti; and David Nutter.
The Time Traveler’s Wife premieres in the US this spring on HBO (date tba). It will be available to stream on HBO Max, as well. Stay tuned for updates.
