UPtv has announced the US broadcast premiere date for Heartland, the hit Canadian family drama series.
Based on the best-selling “Heartland” novels by Lauren Brooke, and having launched in 2007, fan-favorite Heartland is the longest-running one-hour scripted drama in Canadian television history.
In Season 18, the success of a family-run ranch in the foothills of Alberta isn’t guaranteed even in the best of times, and Heartland’s future has never been more precarious. With new competition from a neighboring ranch, and a drought threatening the health of the herd, the only solution is for the Bartlett-Fleming family to buckle down and adapt like never before.
Amy’s (Amber Marshall, My Christmas Guide) work with horses continues to be her focus, but when she unexpectedly finds her heart pulled in two different directions, she’ll be forced to make a difficult decision. Her sister, Lou (Michelle Morgan, Virgin River), will be more involved than ever in the family cattle business, often putting her at odds with their grandfather, Jack (Shaun Johnston, Wynonna Earp), and their father, Tim (Chris Potter, “The Good Witch’s…” movies). But when it matters most, the entire family will come together and prove that no adversity is too great when they’re united.
Heartland: Season 18 has its US linear TV debut on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 8pm ET, on UPtv.
