Prime Video announced today the premiere date for Season 3 of its hit Original crime comedy-drama series The Outlaws. (Yay!)
The Outlaws follows a group of strangers from different walks of life who are forced together to complete a community payback sentence in Bristol.
Following on from the events in Season 2, the third season opens with crime boss The Dean (Claes Bang, Bad Sisters) behind bars awaiting trial and The Outlaws moving on with their lives — that is, until one of their own returns with a deadly secret, hurling them back into mortal danger. As a murder manhunt closes in on the gang, can they prove their innocence before The Dean’s case collapses, and he comes looking for revenge?
Returning for the new season are Stephen Merchant (The Office) as Greg, Rhianne Barreto (No Escape) as Rani, Gamba Cole (Hanna) as Ben, Darren Boyd (Trying) as John, Clare Perkins (The Wheel of Time) as Myrna, Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark) as Lady Gabby, Jessica Gunning (Baby Reindeer) as Diane, Charles Babalola (Black Mirror) as Malaki, Tom Hanson (Brassic) as Spencer, and Christopher Walken (The Deer Hunter) as Frank.
The Outlaws: Season 3, an Amazon Original, premieres in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the Nordics as a five-episode binge on Friday, May 31, exclusively on Prime Video. (The BBC has not yet announced the new season’s UK premiere date on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.)
Co-created by Stephen Merchant — who also serves as an executive producer, director, and writer — and Elgin James (Mayans M.C.), The Outlaws is a Big Talk and Four Eyes production co-produced by BBC One and Amazon Studios. Luke Alkin, Kenton Allen, and Matthew Justice also serve as executive producers for Big Talk, along with John Butler. Global distribution is handled by BBC Studios for all three seasons.
