BritBox has announced the North America premiere date for After the Flood, its new Original mystery-crime thriller series starring Sophie Rundle. Check out the trailer.
Sophie Rundle (Peaky Blinders, Gentleman Jack) stars in After the Flood as PC Joanna Marshall, a pregnant police officer who finds the body of an unidentified man in the elevator of an underground garage after a devastating flood. Initially, it’s assumed that the victim became trapped and drowned as the flood waters rose. However, with evidence pointing to foul play, the police commission PC Marshall to investigate the truth of the man’s death.
After the Flood, a BritBox Original, premieres in North America with two episodes on Monday, May 13, exclusively on BritBox. New episodes will drop in pairs through May 27.
Created by Mick Ford (Ashes to Ashes) and directed by Azhur Saleem (Doctor Who), the six-episode series costars Matt Stokoe (Jamestown), Nicholas Gleaves (Scott & Bailey), Lorraine Ashbourne (Bridgerton), Jonas Armstrong (The Bay), and Philip Glenister (Life on Mars), amongst others.
