The all-star cast of Too Much — an ex-pat rom-com for the disillusioned who wonder if true love is still possible, but sincerely hope that it is — has been revealed. Too Much follows Jessica (Megan Stalter), a New York workaholic in her mid-thirties who’s reeling from a broken relationship that she thought would last forever, and slowly isolating everyone she knows. When every block in the Big Apple tells a story of her bad behavior, the only solution is for Jessica to take a job in London, where she plans to live a life of solitude like a Brontë sister. But when she meets Felix (Will Sharpe) — a walking series of red flags — she finds that their unusual connection is impossible to ignore, even as it creates more problems than it solves. Now they have to ask themselves: Do Americans and Brits actually speak the same language?
A project of Working Title Television, part of Universal International Studios, and Lena Dunham’s Good Thing Going production company, Too Much is created by Lena Dunham (Girls, Catherine Called Birdy) and Luis Felber (Catherine Called Birdy, Vinyl), the latter of whom will provide original music for the series. The 10-episode 30-minute comedy series is written, directed, and executive produced by Lena Dunham. Also executive producing are Luis Felber, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Michael P. Cohen, Surian Fletcher-Jones, and Bruce Eric Kaplan, with Camilla Bray (Red Rose, The Wind That Shakes the Barley) producing.
