BritBox has set the North America premiere date for Season 3 of Grace, the mystery-crime drama series starring John Simm as the eponymous detective.
Based on the best-selling “Roy Grace” series of crime novels by Peter James, this mystery-crime drama series returns with John Simm (Crime, Doctor Who, Life on Mars) reprising his role as the troubled but unyielding DS Roy Grace.
Also back for the new season are Richie Campbell (Top Boy, Liar) as DS Glenn Branson, Brad Morrison (National Theatre Live: Twelfth Night) as DC Nick Nicholl, Laura Elphinstone (Chernobyl) as DS Bella Moy, and Craig Parkinson (Line of Duty) as DS Norman Potting.
As with Season 2, Season 3 consists of three feature-length stories adapted from the novels, all set in and around the seaside city of Brighton in East Sussex.
In “Dead Like You,” a chilling event at the Royal Edward Hotel on the night of ACC Vosper’s (Rakie Ayola, The Pact) farewell party forces Grace and Branson into a difficult position when they must investigate all hotel guests, including high-ranking East Sussex police attendees.
“Dead Man’s Grip” sees Grace and his team called to the site of a tragic road traffic collision involving three vehicles, where something found on the victim soon suggests there could be far more to this particular accident than meets the eye.
And in “Not Dead Yet,” a rising music star excitedly shares with her fans about the opportunity of a lifetime for her and her band, only for a shocking turn of events to lead Grace and Branson to believe that someone may be trying to harm her.
