Netflix has released its first photo from the upcoming fifth season of the global hit drama The Crown, which shows Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II.

With The Crown replacing its cast every two seasons, the final two seasons of the hit historical drama will star Oscar® and Emmy® nominee Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake, The Girl, A Confession) as Queen Elizabeth II, taking on the role previously played by Claire Foy and Olivia Colman.
Joining Staunton in the Seasons 5 and 6 cast are Jonathan Pryce (Game of Thrones) as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville (Mum) as Princess Margaret, Dominic West (Brassic) as Prince Charles, Elizabeth Debicki (The Night Manager) as Princess Diana, and Jonny Lee Miller (Elementary) as Prime Minister John Major.
Netflix has not yet set the global premiere date for The Crown: Season 5. Stay tuned for updates.
