BritBox UK just dropped a first-look clip for the new thriller series The Beast Must Die, which will air on AMC in the US.

I won’t spoil it for you by finishing this line uttered by Jared Harris’s character in The Beast Must Die, but when you hear it in its entirety, it might very well send a chill up your spine the way it did mine.
Based on Nicholas Blake’s novel of the same name, Book 4 in his “Nigel Strangeways Mysteries” series, The Beast Must Die is a revenge thriller that tells the story of a grieving mother who infiltrates the life of the man she believes killed her son.
The six-part series stars Cush Jumbo OBE (The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Deadwater Fell) and BAFTA winner and Golden Globes® and Emmy® nominee Jared Harris (Chernobyl, The Crown, The Terror, Mad Men) in the lead roles.
Also in the cast are Billy Howle (The Serpent, MotherFatherSon), Nathaniel Parker (The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, The Outcast), Geraldine James (Back to Life, Anne with an E), and Maeve Dermody (And Then There Were None, The Frankenstein Chronicles).
In the UK, The Beast Must Die is a BritBox Original series that will launch soon on the SVOD streaming service. In the US, the series will premiere this spring on linear TV channel AMC and subscription streaming bundle AMC+ (dates tba).
