Hurray! Transplant will be back for another season.

The medical drama was the most-watched Canadian original series during the show’s first season north of the border, and here in the States, it has been averaging 7.7 million total viewers in linear and digital viewing to date.

Transplant centers on Dr. Bashir “Bash” Hamed (Hamza Haq), a Syrian doctor with battle-tested skills in emergency medicine, who fled his country with his younger sister, Amira. Together they struggle to build a new life in Canada as Bash strives to rebuild his career in medicine.

The show stars Hamza Haq (Quantico), Laurence Leboeuf (The Disappearance), John Hannah (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Jim Watson (Mary Kills People), and Ayisha Issa (Polar).

Season 1 of Transplant completed its run on NBC a few nights ago. You can catch up on all 13 episodes by streaming them on NBC.com, Hulu, and Amazon Video.

Stay tune for updates about Season 2.
