Netflix has set the premiere date for Unchosen (previously called Out of the Dust), a new psychological thriller series. Check out the trailer.

Lordy, Unchosen looks good! (No blaspheming intended.) And I have set a reminder for when this show hits Netflix, as I intend to binge all six episodes.
Written by Julie Gearey (Prisoners Wives, Secret Diary of a Call Girl), Unchosen stars Molly Windsor (Traces, Three Girls), Asa Butterfield (Sex Education, Hugo), and Fra Fee (Lost Boys & Fairies, Prime Target) in the lead roles, along with Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who, Dodger) and Siobhan Finneran (Downton Abbey, Time).
A psychological thriller, the story centers on Rosie (Windsor), a young woman who lives with her husband, Adam (Butterfield), and daughter in a cloistered Christian community. The place is suffocating to Rosie, who must “trust in the Lord and the men who follow His instructions.” Adam is all in, so he “cannot have a willful wife.”
Then, on one fateful day, escaped prisoner Sam (Fee) enters Rosie’s life. His arrival sparks something within her, and so much that she has been repressing and suppressing bubbles up to the surface, revealing the reality and the restraints of the world she lives in.
As cracks begin to appear in her marriage, Sam is seemingly Rosie’s savior. But with his dark criminal past, it’s difficult to discern whether the greatest danger to her lies with Sam or the cult.
Unchosen, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Tuesday, April 21, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
