Apple TV+ announced today the global premiere date for Prime Target, a new conspiracy thriller series starring Leo Woodall and Quintessa Swindell.
Leo Woodall (The White Lotus, One Day) and Quintessa Swindell (Black Adam, In Treatment) lead the cast of the new conspiracy thriller, Prime Target, which also features a stellar supporting cast.
The eight-part drama centers on Edward Brooks (Leo Woodall), a brilliant young math postgraduate who is on the verge of a major breakthrough. If he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he will hold the key to every computer in the world. But he begins to realize an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born, which throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders (Quintessa Swindell), a female NSA agent who’s been tasked with watching and reporting on the mathematician’s behavior. Together they start to unravel the troubling conspiracy that Edward is at the heart of.
Prime Target premieres globally with the first two episodes on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, exclusively on Apple TV+. New episodes will drop singly, every Wednesday, through March 5, 2025.
The series costars Stephen Rea (Dickensian), David Morrissey (Sherwood), Martha Plimpton (The Regime), Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen), SAG Award nominee Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), BAFTA Award nominee Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones), Ali Suliman (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), Fra Fee (Rebel Moon), and Joseph Mydell (The Eternal Daughter).
Created by Steve Thompson (Sherlock, Vienna Blood), who also serves as executive producer, the new drama is produced for Apple TV+ by New Regency with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions. Ed Rubin serves as executive producer for New Regency alongside Beth Pattinson, Emma Broughton, Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan, and Michael Schaefer; Marina Brackenbury is executive producer for Scott Free Productions along with David W. Zucker and Scott. Laura Hastings-Smith serves as executive producer alongside Brady Hood (Top Boy), who directs all eight episodes.
