The Man with 1000 Kids, a new three-part investigative docuseries, uncovers the gripping tale of Jonathan Meijer, a charming and charismatic Dutch YouTuber, whom families trusted as their sperm donor. As it turns out, he’s a scammer who is accused of traveling the world and deceiving mothers into having his babies on a mass scale — as in hundreds, if not thousands, of children.

Delving into the murky world of the fertility industry, the series uncovers how, due to a lack of global regulations, some international fertility clinics continue to allow anonymous donations. With exclusive access to a group of passionate and aggrieved parents, the three-parter unravels the twisting and turning story of Meijer, who defrauded parents from all across the globe, and how they are now on a mission to push for a change in the law to prevent him from deceiving more people.

The Man with 1000 Kids premieres globally on Wednesday, July 3, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
